Range Rover Evoque Convertible Wearing Camo in the Woods

These are soooo not spy shots. Yes, they show a camouflaged thing, a thing that has not been officially revealed, (and, frankly, a thing we still can’t quite believe is happening in the first place), but no, they’re not spy shots. The vehicle in said photos is Land Rover’s upcoming Range Rover Evoque convertible, of course, and these snaps were provided by Land Rover, which makes them teaser images and hence a little less savory, but they give us a good look at the thing in action nonetheless.

Here, it is portrayed as it undergoes final testing on the grounds of Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire, UK. Among its many yoga poses—all of which are set off-road—are a couple in downward dog, a chassis-twisting, chakravakasana side angle, and another shot of the thing taking a mud bath, not unlike many of its pampered owners at their local Burke Williams Day Spa. The Kieth Haring-esque camo is merely a wrap, concealing details of the lighting elements and some bumper bits, but the body shape and top/tonneau designs are no mystery. Indeed, strip off the wrap, give it a mani-pedi, and it’ll be ready for show time.

We presume the truck is indeed passing all the tests it is seen undergoing, and is not bending like an actual yoga master under such duress. We shall see once the final product hits the market next spring following its official unveiling at the 2015 Los Angeles auto show.
