Lamborghini Reventon Roadster gets delivered to French Riviera (VIDEO)
19:23An exceptionally rare example of the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster has been delivered to the French Riviera recently.
The Lamborghini Reventon may have been introduced a few years ago but because this is an ultra-rare supercar, it still manages to attract a lot of attention where ever it goes. This particular example has been filmed being unloaded from a truck in the French Riviera and the “action” has attracted quite a lot of curious eyes and, most importantly, a camera as well. It seems that the owner of this exotic ride has also had his one-off Aventador J, the McLaren P1 and the Aston Martin One-77 delivered to Cannes as well. He is a prolific car collector who lives in Gibraltar.
Lamborghini has introduced the Reventon, in the coupe form, at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. This was the most expensive road car produced in Sant’Agata Bolognese, until the Sesto Elemento, and it used to cost 2m USD. The supercar was produced in 21 units, one for the museum, and came with a mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout. The Reventon Roadster was officially presented to the public at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and it’s using the engine from the Murcielago LO670-4 Super Veloce. This needs just 3.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) and it can go up to a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph). Just 15 units of the drop-top have been put together.
