Toyota Recalling 6.5M Cars Globally to Fix Window Switch

Toyota will recall about 6.5 million cars globally including 2.7 million in North America to fix a defective power window switch.
The defective switch may have been incorrectly lubricated during manufacturing and debris caused by wear and tear could cause a short circuit, overheat and present a fire risk. No injuries have been reported.
The cars affected were produced between January 2005 and December 2010 and include the Yaris, Corolla, Camry, Matrix, RAV4, Highlander, Tundra, Sequoia, and Scion xB.
