Lamborghini Aventador gets crashed in the UK over the weekend
13:23Another example of the Lamborghini Aventador has been crashed in the United Kingdom recently, last weekend.
The Lamborghini Aventador is trying to steal the “crown” from the Ferrari 458 for being the most crashed supercar and the newest example is coming all the way from the United Kingdom. According to the local media, the crash occurred on the M6 motorway, near Preston, but details on what led to it are unknown for the moment. The damage sustained by the Lamborghini Avetnador is quite heavy and if the insurance won’t cover repairs, chances are this will be scrapped. The incident led to a long traffic jam and an ambulance has been spotted on the scene as well.
If you happen to know more on the story, please feel free to share. In the meantime, we will remind you that the Lamborghini Aventador has been in production since 2011. This is the flagship model born in Sant’Agata Bolognese and it’s offered in two body styles, coupe and roadster. The supercar has a longitudinal mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout, using a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine under its hood with 690 HP (510 kW) and 689 Nm (508 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to the wheels through a 7-speed single-clutch transmission, allowing the vehicle to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) made in 3 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
