The 2014 Toyota Venza: Toyota’s Midsize SUV

The success of the 2013 Toyota Venza impressed everyone, with it’s new design and styling, making it more popular than ever. For the new model year in 2014, however, the midsize SUV opted for some new updates to make what was already great, even better.

New to the 2014 Toyota Venza is the addition of power-folding exterior mirrors on the XLE and Limited models, as well as the addition of a front and rear parking sonar for the Limited model. Available as a LE, XLE and Limited, all models have come in either FWD or AWD, and have either an four cylinder or V6 engine. Both engines work with a 6-speed sequential shift automatic transmission with intelligence, providing a truly engaging driving experience with optimum fuel efficiency.

A lower center of gravity than most SUVs, the Venza’s agile handling is improved even more by the addition of large wheels and tires – either 19-inch ten-spoke or 20-inch five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

Inside, an adjustable  center console houses three MP3 player holders with wire concealment features and a large storage compartment. An auxiliary audio jack and 12-volt power outlet are also standard. 10 front and rear beverage holders are arranged throughout to ensure that everyone, drivers and passengers alike, enjoy the most comfort possible.

The Entune Media system uses the driver’s smartphone to give fully integrated accesses to information, navigation and entertainment. Standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, second seat vents, eight-way power adjustable driver’s seat, 3.5” LCD multi-informational display, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel with integrated audio controls and rear-seat adjustable personal reading lights.

The 2014 Venza XLE adds leather trimmed seats, steering wheel and shift knob, four-way power passenger seats, multi-stage heated front seats, driver seat memory, power-folding reverse tilt-down outer mirrors, Display Audio with Navigation and Entune App suite, an anti-theft system with alarm and engine immobilizer, Smart Key system with push button start, and a back up camera.

At the top of the line, the Venza Limited gives drivers everything, including premium HDD navigation with Entune App Suite, JBL, a 7-inch high resolution touch screen with split-screen capability, a front and rear parking sonar, high-intensity discharge headlight  and LED daytime running lights, in addition to all of the great features that the lower models enjoy.
